I am excited to share an awesome guest post with you for this stop!  The
book looks and sounds great.  I mean take a look for yourself!!

Demons of the Rich and Famous (A Demon Whisperer Novel)Supernatural possession is the new “disease” and teen exorcist Caden Butcher is the cure…Having to take care of his father, Caden makes a decent income curing the new “disease”. He’s known as the whiz-kid exorcist to the stars, obtaining most of his work in Hollywood. What others don't know is the exorcisms are all staged with his demon BFF, Dan. Not everyone is happy with Caden’s star status though, including Remy Martin, a high ranking member of the International Order of Exorcists. So when a real exorcism goes wrong and Caden lets the nasty demon inside a teen girl jump bodies, the crap hits the supernatural fan. Not only does the Order strip him of his license but Caden discovers the demon is one he knows and he’s hell bent on destroying Caden’s life, literally. Now with the help of his demon buddy, and Caden’s girlfriend Aspen Spencer, a necromancer in training, Caden must track down the rogue demon before it’s too late.

To Cast a Dream

2013 has rung in and with it comes new goals and dreams. At the beginning of every year I write down
what my goals are and I even write down a few wishful thinkings. One of those thinkings would be to
see Demons of the Rich and Famous as either a TV show or a movie. Not only do I write books but I also
write scripts and teleplays, and in 2011 I met a producer who fell in love with this book. He took it and
shopped it around town. We got reads at MTV and ABC family but as of yet no one has taken a bite.

Now I could’ve let it go, let that dream slide away into oblivion, but that is not how I roll. So I am back
in discussions with this producer friend and we are looking at maybe making it into a movie. Or at least
shop my feature script around this year and see what happens. Nothing would make me happier than
seeing this project on the screen in one form or another.

Which brings me to who I would cast if that dream came true. In both the teleplay and the screenplay
I’ve made Caden a little older, around 20. So Aspen would be as well. Dan, well Dan would be Dan. He
can look however he wants to.
I could totally see Logan Lerman as Caden. He has the right look, the
right kind of awkwardness that works.

Aspen’s shoes could be filled by AnnaSophia Robb. I think she has
a bad ass look to her.

And rounding out the field, Dan.
Ever since the Hunger Games, I think Alexander
Ludwig with dark hair could totally pull off an angsty kick ass Duke of Hell.

Speaking of Hunger Games, what other books are you hoping make it to the big screen or TV? I’d love to
see Blood Red Road as a movie. Actually even as a TV show I think it would rock. A Walking Dead type
of show for teens and early 20’s.

I don't know about you guys but that is a mighty fine looking dream cast.  Filled with people that I would want to watch for sure.

About the Author

Tawny Stokes has always been a writer. From an early age, she’d spin tales of serial killers in love, vampires taking over the world, and sometimes about fluffy bunnies turned bunnicidal maniacs. An honour student in high school, with a penchant for math and English, you’d never know it by the foot high blue Mohawk and Doc Martens, which often got her into trouble. No longer a Mohawk wearer, Tawny still enjoys old school punk rock, trance, zombie movies, teen horror films, and fluffy bunnies. She lives in Canada with her fantastical daughter, two cats, and spends most of her time creating new stories for teens.
Tawny also writes adult paranormal/urban fantasy fiction under the name Vivi Anna, and is an aspiring screenwriter.
