Waiting on Wednesday: The Nightmare Affair by Mindee Arnett

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event that is hosted by Jill at
Breaking the Spine and spotlights upcoming releases that we're
eagerly anticipating.

Feast your eyes on this pretty:
Sixteen-year-old Dusty Everhart breaks into houses late at night, but not because she’s a criminal. No, she’s a Nightmare.

Literally.

Being the only Nightmare at Arkwell Academy, a boarding school for magickind, and living in the shadow of her mother’s infamy, is hard enough. But when Dusty sneaks into Eli Booker’s house, things get a whole lot more complicated. He’s hot, which means sitting on his chest and invading his dreams couldn’t get much more embarrassing. But it does. Eli is dreaming of a murder.

Then Eli's dream comes true.

Now Dusty has to follow the clues—both within Eli’s dreams and out of them—to stop the killer before more people turn up dead. And before the killer learns what she’s up to and marks her as the next target.

Expected Release: March 5, 2013

Hardcover: 352 pages

Why I am Waiting:

  1. Haven't seen much on Nightmares but I would like to!
  2. I have discovered a weakness for mysteries.  Yup, I like to believe that I will figure it out before them... Doesn't always happen.
  3. I think the cover has a little something to do with it.  It vaguely remind me of UNSPOKEN & I adored that one!! Maybe it is the likeness that pulls me in a little...?
  4. I want to know what other kinds of "magickind" there is at this school.  Could be seriously interesting!

Well that's what I am waiting on this week.  What do you think?
Like it? Loath it?  Let me know!  Oh and make sure you link
me up!!

  4. That's funny, my first thought was that it reminds me of Unspoken. The style is very similar. I never get tired of a boarding school setting with some kind of magical/paranormal twist. Love it!
