{Blog Tour} The Edge of Never by J.A. Redmerski *Review & Tour Wide Giveaway*

I am EXTREMELY excited to be a part of this tour!!  Thank you so much to AToMR Tours for hosting this and  having me on the tour!

Twenty-year-old Camryn Bennett had always been one to think out-of-the-box, who knew she wanted something more in life than following the same repetitive patterns and growing old with the same repetitive life story. And she thought that her life was going in the right direction until everything fell apart.
Determined not to dwell on the negative and push forward, Camryn is set to move in with her best friend and plans to start a new job. But after an unexpected night at the hottest club in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina, she makes the ultimate decision to leave the only life she’s ever known, far behind.
With a purse, a cell phone and a small bag with a few necessities, Camryn, with absolutely no direction or purpose boards a Greyhound bus alone and sets out to find herself. What she finds is a guy named Andrew Parrish, someone not so very different from her and who harbors his own dark secrets. But Camryn swore never to let down her walls again. And she vowed never to fall in love.
But with Andrew, Camryn finds herself doing a lot of things she never thought she’d do. He shows her what it’s really like to live out-of-the-box and to give in to her deepest, darkest desires. On their sporadic road-trip he becomes the center of her exciting and daring new life, pulling love and lust and emotion out of her in ways she never imagined possible. But will Andrew’s dark secret push them inseparably together, or tear them completely apart?

Review

There are so many ways that I love this book, I don't even know where to begin and where to end.  This book started off as a cover reveal for me and has become so much more and I am ever glad that I signed up for the tour.  This is one book that not only lives up to its hype but goes beyond it and I haven't felt such emotion reading a book since Brina Courtney's Their Promise.  The entire story from start to finish was well written and had me completely drawn into it.  I mean I sat on the futon by my fire and didn't even realize it had gotten dark out.  Basically this book brought up every emotion I can think of.  I laughed, I cried, I got a little angry and even worried.  Basically what I am trying to put out there is that this book is something that you can seriously become invested in and feel.

Camryn was in a place that I think many of us have been in.  Well I know that I have been there.  Things have gone wrong and just keep going wrong and yet we always know that there has to be something more or at least hope there is something more.  With Cam it was the loss of her boyfriend and the shut down of her best friend that set her off.  Not that anyone can blame her for even a moment.  She is smart and beautiful but has so much sadness in her that my heart hurt for her a few times.  The way in which Redmerski presented Camryn was brilliant and made her easy to connect with or at least fall for.  It was enjoyable that despite the charm coming from Andrew she didn't just fall head over heels in love with him that moment but stood her ground on the "I want to be single front."  There were moments that I wanted her to see the more positive things but that was what this was for her, a learning experience.

Truth be told I don't even know where to begin with Andrew.  If I loved Camryn I am obsessed with him.  There are no words to describe how much he just makes me fall for him every time he opened his mouth.  Everyone needs to have someone a little like Andrew in their lives.  Pushing you forward and living for you and the moment, now dwelling in the past.  He also has a sense of humor that had me laughing out loud and wondering how the heck Cam was resisting him.  Though he does have ghost in his past as well and seems to believe that despite his making Cam happier that he will only hurt her.  Every time he did the inner debate on this I wanted to kick him.  Rather than that there is very few guys that stand up to Andrew and my heart may or may not beat a little faster thinking of him.

The romance in this book was so much more than I can really explain.  At first it was nothing more than a simple friendship but like all good matches it became more.  It didn't become more over night though, it came from a journey and learning who they each where and where they did and didn't compliment each other.  There was moments that were charged with sexual tension but that was never what it was fully about.  The entire relationship between them healed them both and gave them things that they both never felt they would find again.

As this review comes to an end I just want to prepare you for reading this book.  I want you to make sure that you have tissues.  I can't tell you why but I wish I had previously thought that one out.  One part in particular my chest ached for Cam and Andrew and I may have sobbed a little.  This story was done extremely well.  It was two people finding each other in their darkest hours and finding the pieces they never knew were missing from their lives.  I tell you now that this is worth every word, every page and every moment you spend reading it.  I myself have decided I must try and get my hands on a paperback copy because I need it to hold forever.

Quotes
What compels any of us to do the things we do when deep down a part of us just wants to break free from it all?- Cam

I don't know how I got myself into this, but I do know that as much as my conscience is ripping into my fucking ears, telling me to leave her alone, I can't. I don't want to.- Andrew

"I will do anything for you, Camryn Bennett.  I don't care what is is, I don't care... anything you ever ask me to do and I would do it.  No exceptions."- Andrew

I hope it never comes down to me being forced to tell him my problems and all the things that led me down this road-to-nowhere bus trip, because I will feel so stupid and selfish.  My problems are nothing compared to his.- Cam

"I don't think you ever really fall out of love with someone," I say and see a flicker of thought move through her eyes.  "I think when you fall in love, like true love, it's love for life.  All the rest is experience and delusions."- Andrew

There are MANY MANY more amazing quotes in this book.  My notes page was many many pages for this one.  I suggest you check some other reviews and quotes out on Goodreads for this one.  Then pick the book up seriously it is totally worth it!!!

Author Bio

Author of THE DARKWOODS TRILOGY and DIRTY EDEN, mother, werewolf & zombie
fanatic, book addict and a happy hermit obsessed with the Universe. Oh, and AMC’s “The
Walking Dead”.

Addictions: Starbucks every morning, trolling Barnes & Noble’s shelves once a week, detesting
winter, shopping flea markets and preparing for the collapse of society as we know it. Do I own a
tin foil hat? Maybe. :-)

I was born in Arkansas and have lived here most of my life, except the couple of times when
I lived in Pennsylvania. I started my first novel at the age of thirteen and have been writing
something ever since. Generally, I love characters in life and on paper. I pay attention to people,
especially those whose personalities make them different from the rest of us: the drug addict
roaming the Laundromat that talks to himself, the young, inattentive mother in the park with the
meanest kid on the playground – (the entire cast of ‘Swamp People’) – characters fascinate me
and I hope that it shows in my literary work.
