Waiting on Wednesday: TOUCHED by Cyn Balog

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event that is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spineand spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This week I just found this to wait on:
Nick Cross always listens to the voice in his head. Because if he doesn't? Things can go really, really wrong. Like the day he decided to go off script and saved a girl from being run over . . . and let another one drown. Trying to change the future doesn't work.

But this summer at the Jersey Shore, somethings about to happen that Nick never could have predicted. He meets a girl named Taryn and finds out about the Book of Touch. Now the path that he thought he was on begins to shift . . . and there's no way to stop things from happening. Or is there?

In a life where there are no surprises, nothing has prepared Nick for what he's about to discover--or the choice he will be forced to make. . .

Hardcover: 320 pages
Expected Release: August 14, 2012
Published by: Delacorte Press

Why I am waiting on this one:

1.  Done from a male POV <3.  Love picking up a good book written in the guys eye (yes I know I have no  way of knowing if it's good or not but I have high hopes).

2.  I think the cover is cool and kind of haunting.  I think what draws me the most is the ribbons of darkness that seem to be attached to him.  Maybe that isn't what they are meant to be but they draw me to the cover.

3.   Just all around curious as to what happens.

What are you waiting on this week?!

  1. I loved Cyn's first book, Fairy Tale and I enjoyed her second, Dreamless (I think that's what it was called). I've heard about this one and I do want to read this one too, but I'm not jumping off a cliff for it. I do love a male POV. Especially if it's done really really well. Good pick, Tiff!

  2. I have seen this around and I think I even requested for an ARC but got declined. LOL

  3. Beautiful cover! I definitely intend to read some of Cyn Balog's books, although as of yet that hasn't happened. This one sounds fun and creepy, and romantic!

Oh, and I appreciate you dropping by, love!

  4. Oh, I'm looking forward to this book. The ribbons sold me and captivated me. The male perspective is intriguing.

  5. I need to see if you got this one and reviewed it. I love this cover and it sounds like it might just be a fantastic read. It came out a few months ago now, so I really should see if I can get my hands on it.
