mind blowing and totally rock your face off!! I have secretly been checking it
out all week just to imagine it in my hands!

So as to not make you wait any longer than I already have
here it is:
After uniting the shifters and calling in reinforcements, Chase has to face his toughest challenge yet: learning to control his emotions. But as tensions rise and his powers grow, controlling his emotions becomes the least of his problems.
Terrorized by a multi-shifter who is hell-bent on turning him, Chase questions just how far he’s willing to go to stop his father. Meanwhile, Tiki’s virtuous nature has placed him in the middle of Vincent’s past, leaving Chase to oppose a senate of vampires and defend a demon he hates.
Trying to balance his friends, his enemies, and his inner demons, Chase is left searching for answers about the Mark, his destiny, and where he can find the next soul piece. Stopping Riley is his top priority, but as more obstacles arise, he finds himself doubting all the decisions he’s made - especially regarding Rayna.

     How awesome is this?! SERIOUSLY!!!
We will be waiting until December 10, but I totally think it will

**REVIEW** Accordance by Shelly Crane

In the sequel, Maggie learns much more about all the strange things that happened to her, and has to face new ones. She rebels against it, but ultimately, must face it for her new families sake and maybe even her life. Bish went from being her biggest supporter to her biggest pain in the butt and Kyle's intentions to attract her interest may not be so innocent. Caleb and Maggie face many new obstacles together and fight to work through them but will one that should be a good thing be too much for Maggie to handle?

**REVIEW**

Have you started this series yet?  If you haven't you definitely should for so many reasons.   The number one reason is that Shelly is amazing and her writing is naturally sensational I think.  The way that she has written this series has me hopelessly addicted and constantly in need of more.  This is the second book in the Significance series and is just as good as the first book but for completely different reasons.  I mean this was a completely variant from it predecessor and yet I found myself just as entranced with this as the last.

This book quite literally picks up right where the last one left off.  Not one heart beat seems to have passed which is good because it was a bit of an intense ending and I kind of was curious.  Maggie and Caleb have an epic and romantic kind of connection.  It was total insta love in book 1(give it a chance) but it is for a reason and I mean a total legit reason.  However I would like to point out that there is a lot of development in this book with Maggie and Caleb.  So even if you weren't a massive fan of book 1 give this one a go because honestly they develop a lot!

Maggie is such a strong willed character.  Actually much of why I love her is that I relate to her stubborn and determined ways.  Not only that but she cares and tries her best just to make everyone happy.  That aid if her best isn't enough well lets just say she isn't putting up with that either.  This time around she is learning more about what she is capable of and just how much she really can do.  Basically she is way ore than anyone ever expected and yet she wishes to be less at times.  She currently ha a lot on her plate and even with her biggest supporter and love Caleb sometimes things are more than a little overwhelming.

The fight for Maggie from Kyle is still  going on in much of this novel but really he is very stuck in the I saw her first thing.  He totally seems to forget about the bond that makes it impossible to see anyone (love interest wise) outside of Caleb.  That being said Caleb is just as in love with Maggie as ever.  He is the sweetest and is is totally swoon worthy is so many ways.  There were a couple times I may have even been jealous of Maggie and Caleb.  I mean he just loves her so much and they totally just fit.  Both strong willed but Caleb seems to know when to cave and I love that Maggie can do that to him!!!

Now there isn't quite as much action in this book.  Well not the same kind of action I should say.  Last time there was a high intensity kind of action this time it is more Maggie and her abilities that create scenes.  Due to everything being so new she is not full in control of everything and it puts the family in a tight spot a couple of times.  But they handle it with a grace that I probably would not have.  I mean I would freak out, not at Maggie but the fact that everything is such a risk of exposure!!!  There is so much at risk but the family handles it with such a grace that you would never know it might be an issue.

Family also plays a much more important role in this one.  Her Dad knows what went down and what will continue to happen.  Maggie's brother on the other hand is different.  He thinks that Maggie has been suckered and pressured into something that she doesn't want.  This creates a lot of strain on everyone.  Caleb's family continues to support and love Maggie for who she is and who she will/has become.  Heck even Maggie's mother makes an appearance for once.

Lets talk ending shall we?  HOLY!!!!  I need book three (Defiance) and I mean like now!!!!  The cliff at the end of book one was bearable but this one is really making me wish that the next one was in my hands NOW.  Basically Shelly blew my mind and I was left looking for the next page that  never happened.  Well I mean I knew there was another book but that doesn't stop me from pretending that if I turn the pages enough there will be more.  To some this might have been an acceptable way to go out.  Some high intensity action and then BAM, surprise!! Lets just say I am totally left in wanting!

Shelly Crane is quite clearly a literary master mind!  She has me hooked and to be honest I would recommend this book to anyone that could handle the beautifully written insta love.  Just know that there is clearly more to it than that and Shelly does develop both the relationship and the characters in this one.  I can't wait to be able to get my hands on Defiance and end my craving to find out what goes down.

**Moments**
Caleb and Kyle couldn't keep their eyes off me, like I was the queen of frigging England sitting at their table or something.  It was really starting to bug me.
"Wow.  So you're like a superhuman heroine or something?  You see these horrific things happen to helpless people in bathrooms and snag them up before it happens and save them,"...
I giggled slightly and bit my lip.  It was amazing how much I could fluster him

Waiting on Wednesday: HIDDEN by P.C. Cast + Kristin Cast

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event that is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine and spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This week I am waiting on:
Neferet’s true nature has been revealed to the Vampyre High Council, so Zoey and the gang might finally get some help in defending themselves and their beloved school against a gathering evil that grows stronger every day. And they’ll need it, because Neferet’s not going down without a fight. Chaos reigns at the House of Night
Hardcover: 320 pages
Expected Publication: October 16, 2012
Published by: St. Martin's Griffin

Why I am waiting on this one:

I know many of you are going *gasp* not that series but I was hooked and really need to know what is going to happen.  I wasn't overly impressed with the last couple of novels and where as before I rushed to the store on release day, I haven't as of late.  I do have hopes though that it will return to its former glory and awesome sometime soon.  Like in this book...  I mean everyone knows that Neferet is evil now right so the circle can't continue.  Yes I know it was more than that, that detoured many of you but that was the biggest thing for me.  Now normally I make a list  for my WoW but with this one I'm not.  I am very excited about this book but am cautious as well.

Well that's it for me.  What are your thoughts?  What are you waiting on this week?

**REVIEW & GIVEAWAY** TRANSCEND by Christine Fonseca

All seventeen-year-old composer Ien Montgomery desires is an escape from his family's rigid expectations for his life; someone to inspire his music. When he meets a beautiful violin-prodigy, Kiera McDougal, his life music takes on new life. With her, he imagines a future outside of his parents’ control. That is, until a horrible accident tears them apart. Sent to die in a sanatorium, Ien’s obsession for Kiera grows unbearable. Tortured by thoughts he can’t escape and the truth of his monstrous disfigurement, he flees, desperate to exact revenge on the people that ruined his life – his parents. But, vengeance is empty. Betrayed by those closest to him, Ien discovers that the price for his happiness may be his sanity.Set amidst the landscape of New York's Gilded Age, and inspired by Phantom of the Opera, TRANSCEND exposes the fine line between love and madness.

Those of you that have followed me for awhile will know that I am a serious Christine Fonseca fan girl.  This started with Lacrimosa but has continued on with every other thing I have picked up of hers.  This book was no exception but I am at a loss for words with it.  Seeing I got so invested both mentally and emotionally I figured that pouring it into a review would be no problem.  Problem is everything just wont come out the way I want it to.  This beautiful and dark novel is escaping all proper description from me.

Transcend begins with Ien and his desire to do not what his family expects but what he wants.  To have the woman he loves love him back and to make music.  However nothing in life is ever that simple is it?  A tragic accident changes everything for Ien and leaves him not who he was.  It leaves him with more damage than you can see.  I was glued to Ien and everythime something changed my mind raced with his.  My thoughts were continuous and my heart broke for him on several occasions for many different reasons.  Some times it was almost painful to read all of the sorrow that Ien dealt with.

The depth in which Christine takes you into Ien's mind is astounding.  After the accident there is much of Ien that in't right.  His obsession becomes almost dangerous and he believes things that may or may not be there.  There is some minor looping but it is what creates and develops much of Ien.  It is after the accident when he is sent away because of his injuries and his families inability to want to care for him that you see many of the true colours  of the novel.  The beautiful, dark, mesmerizing and entrapping world that ensues Ien's accident is beyond anything that I could imagine.

Although there are many secondary characters you don't see them very much.  Yet some how they all are memorable in their own way.  Jenna, Kiera and James all only held a small portion of this book yet they captured much of it.  Even when they are not there Ien quite often recalls things that involve each of the characters and you really feel like you know them by the time you close the book. Jenna was by far my favourite of all of them.  She is the girl that you hope the guy ends up with.  Strange we always hope for the bad boy when it's a girl but when it comes down to guys we want them to end up with the sweet heart.

The story itself is so unique.  There are many twists and surprises and no matter how much you think you have it figured out you really don't.  It really tosses you around and pulls you in many directions.  But you don't ever feel lost, it's more like it helps you become a part of the madness and take you deeper into Ien and his story.

Christine once again created something that will enchant you and you will savour long after you put the book down.  She never fails to astound me with her lyrical and remarkable writing style.  Still after finishing this novel I find myself being pulled back  and running through many of the events that led up to the end.  In the start I questioned my own thoughts and by the end I questioned if anything I thought and read was true.  Pick this one up if you want something that is emotionally vested and can take you into darkness while keeping you thinking.

**REVIEW** Cinder by Marissa Meyer

Humans and androids crowd the raucous streets of New Beijing. A deadly plague ravages the population. From space, a ruthless lunar people watch, waiting to make their move. No one knows that Earth’s fate hinges on one girl. . . .
Cinder, a gifted mechanic, is a cyborg. She’s a second-class citizen with a mysterious past, reviled by her stepmother and blamed for her stepsister’s illness. But when her life becomes intertwined with the handsome Prince Kai’s, she suddenly finds herself at the center of an intergalactic struggle, and a forbidden attraction. Caught between duty and freedom, loyalty and betrayal, she must uncover secrets about her past in order to protect her world’s future.

Where do you start when a book is nothing like you had expected but all you could have ever have wanted?  Cinder was a seriously awesome story and was executed perfectly.  I had heard rave reviews and wanted to read it but every time I went to pick it up I dreaded being let down or not liking it because of the cyborg factor.   I would be lying if I said I didn't have doubts and thought that the sci-fi would be too much for me but I quickly discovered that it wasn't.  The twist that this book took on Cinderella was impressive to say the least.

Biggest fear walking into this was the possibility that I would not connect with any of the characters or even feel that I understood them.  Cinder took that idea and tossed it right out the window.  Tough sad and compliant when we first meet her she is clearly a fighter despite all odds.  I mean she lives with someone that lives off of her earnings and constantly reminds her that she is the orphan that she never wanted.  Truth be told I probably would have snapped long before Cinder did.  Even when she snapped it was more like he was taking a stand for herself.  Her strength started to show and basically unless there was a reference made I forgot she was cyborg.  I personally would have liked to see her develop and accept herself a little more but this is a series so there is still time.

All of the characters bring something to the table in this one.  From Cinder to her evil Step Mother to Iko the android and to Peony the sweet sister.  The characters bring so many dimensions to the story really.  all different and unique in their own way.  It is very clear the amount of time, effort and care that Marissa put into each and every character because you can feel who they are.  Now not always did they develop beyond  what you originally meet but they all still play an important role in their own way.

The romance and the romantic interest were the only point of up and down for me.  Cinder wan't comfortable with herself therefore every time Kai showed interest she reasoned her way around him actually liking her.   Kai himself was sweet but at times unrealistic.  Maybe it's the fact that he was so sweet that didn't quite capture me, I like my guys with an edge to them.  I found that he was instantly way to into Cinder right from the get go and fell to fast.  The balance to that was the fact that Cinder refused to just give in.  Yes that is because as stated above she is hard on herself and this is kind of due to the fact the world that she lives in does not accept cyborgs really.  So Kai and Cinder fall into that dream romance, the kind where they both want it but when the truth is out they are from two different worlds.

The world that Marissa Mayer created was truly what captivated me.  New Beijing was masterfully written and  every single part of the city that you read is clear as day.  The castle was probably my favourite as it shows the beauty and the dark of the city.  However the new world is all around well created and every stop you make be it the market, Cinder's home or the lab you can literally see the place unfold right in front of you.   The one thing I did note was that despite taking place in Beijing there isn't a heavy China feel to it.  This could be in part to the unravelling of today's society and the rebuilding of a new one.

This book was way more for me than I ever expected.  Just be warned if you are looking for a happily ever after you might not find what you are looking for.  This is a series though and I have super high expectations for the next book.  However I don't feel that Marissa Mayer will disappoint.  Though I am really interested to see how the other tales will mix in and tie together in the next book.  Actually to be honest I'm curious to see how the entire series ties up all the tales together.  Overall I enjoyed this read am excited to move onto Scarlett as soon as possible!

{{COVER REVEAL}} OPAL by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I am so excited to be sharing with you the cover for
Jennifer L. Armentrout's next book in the EPIC Lux
series
OPAL:
No one is like Daemon Black.

When he set out to prove his feelings for me, he wasn’t fooling around. Doubting him isn’t something I’ll do again, and now that we’ve made it through the rough patches, well... There’s a lot of spontaneous combustion going on.

But even he can’t protect his family from the danger of trying to free those they love.

After everything, I’m no longer the same Katy. I’m different... And I’m not sure what that will mean in the end. When each step we take in discovering the truth puts us in the path of the secret organization responsible for torturing and testing hybrids, the more I realize there is no end to what I’m capable of. The death of someone close still lingers, help comes from the most unlikely source, and friends will become the deadliest of enemies, but we won’t turn back. Even

if the outcome will shatter our worlds forever.

Together we’re stronger... and they know it.

**REVIEW & GIVEAWAY** Fire Dance (Fire Wars #3) by Kailin Gow

The threat to Aeros Island and Earth has come earlier than believed. Mackenzie was forced to join the Water Gods, crushing whatever hope the Fire Gods had in stopping the Erosion from claiming the remainder of Earth. As she discovers another side to her, as her powers emerge, she finds herself challenged beyond anything else to make the most difficult decision in her life, a decision that could change the fate of everyone.

Fire Dance is the third book in Kailin Gow's Fire Wars series and I swear it just keeps on getting better.  This is also my favourite series by Kailin Gow as it combines two things that I love: Dystopia and Mythology!!  This series will seriously draw you in and leave you begging for more.  Between the characters, the action and the romance you wont want this to end!

Kailin has taken what I loved about the previous two books combined it and then added more action!  So basically this book has made what I loved into something I am borderline obsessive about! The book throws you right into the moment where book two ended and practically broke my heart.  It was fixed but I temporarily had an issue due to my serious crush on Chance and what was going on.   However the feeling did pass... Mostly.  I am a little over zealous when it comes to Chance.  Ah who am I kidding, when it comes to Chance all bets are off.  But I am rambling now so lets move on because I know it's going to happen with this review.

Mac is a strong and easy to love character that is now facing even bigger decisions this time than last.  This includes the decision between Water and Fire.  She feels the pull of fire and feels that it is her true place but when she takes a leap into the water side of things she can't deny that she enjoys its feel as well.  It's like just when she starts to get the swing of things, she is tossed into chaos again.  However many of he questions have now been answered so she is not the helpless question asking girl that she was.  She is all about the action and kicking butt and just as determined  to protect her friends, family and the people of the post erosion.

Although the romance isn't as up front and centre as it has been, it is still very much there and important.  Although there are times that I feel like shaking Mac and screaming due to her almost indecisive moments, I feel that this continues to be one of the romances I enjoy the most that carries a close triangle feeling.  Mac has made her choice but there are times that she is forced to question it but ultimately her heart always pulls her the right way.  Well the way I want it to go I guess I should say.  The fire, dedication and passion always seem to have a stronger hold on her.  For those of you groaning over the dreaded triangle word DON`T.  There is justification in this one and by this book it is virtually gone.

Chance is changing too.  He was once a wall of stone but his defences seem to be wearing down.  He doesn't want to be burned a second time by Vesta (aka Mac) and even though he will fight to the death for her he wont loose her again.  The side of him that I am seeing more of just makes me love him more and more.  There is nothing about this guy that doesn't scream "JUMP ME!"  Well something like that at least.  I almost literally hang by the pages when Chance is there.  At some point Chance helps Varun and shows that he does care but only to an extent in which he doesn't loose Mac.  Varun isn't in this book as much as the others due some unforeseen circumstances and although I kind of missed him, the amount of Chance made up for it.

The story in this one is kind of pushing everything forward and really gives you some new information.  I mean information I didn't even realize that I was missing out on.  This is partially because of the war that is now in full swing and it could mean the end of what is left of our world.  Water is raging for control and everyone is now involved in saving what life there is left out in the world.  You will find yourself shocked and many times holding your breath and hoping for the best because lets face it: in a dystopia world where Gods are fighting, anything can happen.

If you haven't already START THIS SERIES!!  Along with all of the stuff I have said this book is written with Kailin Gow's signature no nonsense straight to the point writing style, which is fast paced and doesn't have a dull moment.  Every time I think that Kailin can't do anything to improve upon the previous book (in any of her series really) she blows me away with something new mixed in with the old.  Of course the heart pounding romance and the steamy Chance scenes are still in this one which will make every page extra worth it!

All you have to do is click this PIN IT button and select one of your boards to pin the cover to. Elana has done everything else! Don't have a Pinterest board yet? Put it on your Tumblr page. Your Facebook page. Your twitter stream. Elana will count those too! Just be sure to tag her (@ElanaJ on twitter, Possession by Elana Johnson on Facebook).

Well what do you think?!  I LOVE IT!!!
