  10. I love that you have a shelf just for mermaids! You need to add Fathomless by Jackson Pearce.

  11. Definitely Monstrous Beauty by Elizabeth Fama! It's supposed to be a huge DARK mermaid book that's awesome. I can't wait to read it for myself!

If not... Tangled Tides by Karen Amanda Hooper. (I think that's the author at least.) Other mermaid books because I love them too: Tempest Rising by Tracey Deebs and Teeth. The author of Teeth is escaping me completely, but the cover is silver and scaley. Enjoy!

  15. For your mermaids shelf you should give Of Poseidon by Anna Banks a try. It's actually pretty good. My favorite mermaids series though is the Syrenka trilogy by Amber Garr ( Goodreads) I thought it was amazing.

  16. Mermaid books? I've read Ripple by Mandy Hubbard, Tempest Rising by Tracy Deebs, The Mermaid's Mirror by L.K. Madigan and Sea Change by Amiee Friedman. Ripple was is a good stand alone and a quick read. Tempest Rising is really good. The Mermaid's Mirror was good and bitter sweet. I really liked Sea Change and wanted more. Too bad it's a standalone :(
I've been wanting to read Of Poseidon, Monstrous Beauty and Tangled Tides.

  18. WOW! I don't think I have ever read a mermaid book. I might have to check them out. I do have Wake on my shelf to read.

Suggestions...no clue you have probably already read everything I would think to suggest. My top choice I have read this summer would be My Life Next Door. It was great!

  40. Since you love mermaids, you should read Of Poseidon! I'm sure you'll love it as much as much as I do!

Although it's got nothing to do with mermaids, you should definitely read the Infernal Devices series, if you like the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. I love it!
