Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event that is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spineand spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

From Goodreads:
In this stunning sequel to the highly acclaimed "Daughter of Smoke and Bone," Karou must come to terms with who and what she is, and how far she'll go to avenge her people. Filled with heartbreak and beauty, mysteries and secrets, new characters and old favorites, Days of Blood and Starlight brings the richness, color and intensity of the first book to a brand new canvas.

Expected Release Date: November 6, 2012
Published by: Little, Brown & Company
Hardcover: 304 pages

Why am I waiting on this book?  Well besides my shallow love for the cover (we all do it lol)
I loved thefirst book.  It was original and well written.  I can't wait to see where this one goes.
The description alone has left me in some serious wanting!!

  1. Yes!! I'm suuuper waiting on this one for sure! DOSAB was one of my top favorite reads last year so I'm slowly dying for this one! The cover is just stunning as hell and I can't wait to get my hands on this one. I need more Karou and Akiva <33 I completely agree that this series is definitely original and Laini's writing is pure beauty. :D Wonderful pick, Tiff!

  4. Oh my gosh, I'm SO excited to get my hands on this one!!! DOSAM was just one of those books that left your mind feeling like it was pounded with WOWs, and I'm really hoping that this sequel is the same way! After that awful cliffhanger ending realization, I have a feeling it's going to be EPIC! :)

Awesome pick for your WOW this week, Tiffany! <3
